1. Check your Fibre coverage

3. Schedule a Fibre installation (if applicable)

If you don’t yet have Fibre installed at your premises, an Openserve technician will schedule an appointment to come through and install the Fibre infrastructure and WiFi-enabled device (ONT) at your home. Our technicians will connect the Fibre from the road into your home. Please ensure that someone is home on the installation day.

4. Ready, GO!

Once the installation is complete you will immediately have access to the internet. Your installation bundle gives you access to the internet for 14 days.

What speeds can I get on Openserve Prepaid Fibre?

  • You may get Prepaid services at asymmetrical 20 Mbps (20 down / 10 up), symmetrical 25 Mbps (25 down / 25 up) or asymmetrical 50 Mbps (50 down / 25 up) depending on the type of footprint deployed in your suburb.
  • Uncapped internet.

Will I need to cancel the internet service if I can’t afford it?

No, there’s no need to notify your ISP of cancellation. You merely recharge with the appropriate bundle when you want to use the service again. You must cancel the service if you are moving premises.

Your Prepaid line will always remain active, however you will need to recharge/top-up to use it.

How long is my Prepaid bundle active for?

Your bundle is time based. That means you will have unlimited access as long as you have an active Prepaid bundle.

Can I buy multiple bundles?

Yes. You can buy as many bundles as you wish. They will not all become active at once. They will automatically activate one at a time as the previous bundle runs out.

Can I only buy bundles from one internet service provider (ISP)?

Yes, if you have ordered your Prepaid line from an ISP, you will only be able to recharge with that ISP’s bundles.

How long is my bundle valid for if not used?

Bundles purchased will automatically activate if the ONT and line are active. Bundles on non-active lines will expire after 6 months.
